External Hemorrhoids
The disease is quite rampant nowadays in urban areas and cosmopolitan cities. We can say after years of experience that most of the factors responsible for hemorrhoids are life style related. Hemorrhoid is a condition in which the blood vessels connecting the anal and the rectum get inflamated forming a cushion full of blood and is painful. There is regular itching accompanied with pain and bleeding. The precursor for hemorrhoids is hypertension. People these days are performance oriented and do not take much care of their personal habits like eating, washing, sleeping etc. people these days are not able to devote enough time to themselves, rather they are interested in finishing their office work.
We cannot blame people entirely but the social set up is such that any person is recognized by the designation he holds in a company or the amount of money he has in his bank accounts. Hypertension is born in such similar kind of an environment where there is no attention given to one’s health. Hypertension leads to high blood pressure. High blood pressure doesn’t allow the body to function in its normal condition and forms some or the other abnormalities. One of these abnormalities is hemorrhoids. The disease could also be genetic in certain cases but most of the cases are self induced.
Hemorrhoids lead to swelling of the veins joining the anal and the rectum due to high blood pressure. They can be broadly classified in to depending on their location: External Hemorrhoids and Internal Hemorrhoids. It is easier detecting an external one from an internal one. The external hemorrhoid formed outside the anal opening is always accompanied with severe and frequent itch along with pain, while the inner one doesn’t pain because there are no pain sensors inside the anus. Since the diagnosis is possible early it is easier to treat external hemorrhoid and thus prevents further growth of the disease. There is one more condition which needs to be understood and taken care of for a person suffering from external hemorrhoid condition. Coagulation of blood in the blood veins connecting the anus and the rectum causes clots known as thrombosis thus obstructing the blood flow. Anus is that part of body where there are always chances of bacterial infection.
External hemorrhoid can be even severe if it breaks down and comes in contact with various germs and bacteria at the site. This will result in to two conditions occurring simultaneously. First, being the bacterial infection spreading in the entire body and binding at any site which the bacteria find favorable. Secondly the condition of the hemorrhoid turns from bad to worst.
To avoid such a condition people should take more interest in playing organized games, going for exercises like jogging or going to the gym. People should consume more of liquid diet like juices and shakes which will perform a soothing action on the alimentary canal thus cutting down on alcohol and spicy stuff. All care should be taken that the digestive system remains in tune. This will lead to a happy and a healthy life.
